Hello all I have a 2017 Audi A4 2.0 TDI S-Line S-Tronic. Some time ago, I noticed I could hear a 'clunking' sound the first time the gearbox switched up from 3rd to 4th gears after starting the car. Every other gear change after that, there are no unusual noises - only the first time from a parked start. It doesn't matter whether gearbox is in normal/sport/efficiency etc. I've tried to capture the sound, two recordings: https://vocaroo.com/i/s1DLIkdTTQVY https://vocaroo.com/i/s1guBuDCWkZ2 (the first one is probably better, about 6/7 seconds in) I have the car booked in for it's second service next month and I've asked them to take a look, but does anyone have any ideas? Given it always (and only) happens when the gearbox switches from 3rd to 4th gears after a parked start, I'm assuming it's something related to the DSG box... but perhaps others have a better idea what it might be!
