Having enabled drls via fog lights ( north american) i now have foglights, main beam and side lights on all together.How do i get fog lights only? (2005 tdi sportback)

I presume you've done this with VagCom/ VCDS?
Can't remember exactly how I did this but something's definitely gone wrong in your case, as you say, main beam and sidelights shouldn't be on.....
You can also vary the brightness of the fog lights when running them as DRLs.....
If no-one else has replied by tomorrow I'll dig out my VCDS cable and plug it in and take a look at my settings....

Forgot mention dash doesn't light up, until i turn the lights on to full.
