I am after some new (ideally) 20W Cree DRL bulbs and I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get some from?

I have tried T8ups as one provided a few years ago is the one that has gone, but I have been waiting since March and my MoT is now due!

Just put the standard lamp back in for the MOT and then find the LED bulb on Ebay or wait for t8ups to come up with one, he is a one man business and does take holidays.

One downside to those is they only shine forward.... you want them to shine outwards to use the lamp if that makes sense. I've tried bulbs similar to the above and they were a little disappointing but I can't speak for those exact ones

They seem like quality bulbs i will probably order these ,or somebody has better idea?...And i honestly dont want them to shine to much still want that oem look just white :D

Normal drl's are far too bright and should be abolished!!!
Let alone making them even more dazzling, pleeeease?
The trouble with making your own lights brighter is that you don't see them as others have to!

Normal drls on a3 8p facelift 2010 arent that bright imo ...

The DRL in the facelift, standard A3 (8p) is a special halogen DRL/sidelight combination bulb PS19W. When on sidelight they look terrible - very dim and worse than the standard 5w bulbs in many cars. I believe the LED replacements all originate from China with some being subsequently retailed from a UK source. I've got the £15.99 ones above in my car - they work and look fine - the car has been through an MOT where they are fussy, with no problems.

Ok so i will probably order this one that you mention for 15.99 or the one with blue ring altough i dont know what is the difference ...They look the same beside the color of that ring...

Completely agree, however it has been five months and i have had two responses in that time frame and then nothing - I also don't want to be changing the bulbs twice given how much of a PITA it is.

Thank you for the suggestions! I have a message in my inbox from someone, but it seems to be erroring when i try to get to my inbox so i am not sure whats occuring!

I shall have a look at the ebay ones and go from there - thank you!

Dont buy ones that i posted above or if they are similiar to those cause as someone wrote they are bad ...
Mine arrived , they are bright but they just shine forward they dont fill whole drl area of headlight if you know what i mean :D
So look on ebay for bulbs that have leds also on the sides of bulb...

Sorry Matt.

These ones are back in stock next week again. for the last 4 months I have been working on my site, I'm not a computer wiz so have had to sit and learn as well as do the day to day tasks, so I'm really sorry to you and all others that have had slow replies.

I will be back on it starting from Nov as I have now got the hang of adding and removing items, I also have ALOT of new items coming in so will be adding to the Site, there will also be good Discounts for returning customers.
