driveshaft boot

evening folks ! my 05 tdi has now covered 90k faultless miles but one off my cv boots is torn
would I be better off just replacing the driveshaft or will it still have plenty miles in it ??
don't want to replace boot then do whole job again six month down the line

new boot be fine, use a good quality one

Genuine cv boot will be fine as long as the joint isnt noisy
