When its hot and dry - when I wind down or up the drivers side window it goes squeek, squeek, squeek, squeek!

Has anybody had this and resolved it by oiling something behind the door trim/inside the door mechanisms? How easy is it to remove the door panel?

Cheers

You could try spraying silicon grease in the window tracks
see how that goes first.

So - when you say window tracks - is that without removing the trim? Isn't that going to go all over the glass?

it generally comes in a can with a straw so you can put the straw in the track
(without removing the trim)
you may get some on the glass but it will wipe off its not like grease,
its got to be worth a try before stripping the door down.

I have some spray oil on the same lines (with the red tube - like with WD40) do you think that will do?

So, on a cab, the track would be on the end towards the handle?

(...just realised I have spelt squeak wrong!)

I would use a silicon lubricant over a conventional penetrating oil personally.
