Check the wiring in the door hinge (where it connects with the car). Probably broken, common problem.

clear dtc
if recurs then...

open bonnet
sensors located next to fans
disconnect driver and passenger
switch location
rescan
if passenger side is now in error than replace original drivers

Hello, what do you mean with "replace original drivers"? I have the exactly whay you described and now the other side is now in error. My english isn't great so I don't really know what you mean by "replace original drivers". Thanks!

Google Audi a3 8p crash sensor location.
They are in various locations around the car . plenty of diagrams on where to find them .
I think tcardio means swap the sensor from the drivers side with the one from the passenger side and see if the error reoccurs on the opposite side when you rescan .
That will tell you if the sensor is faulty or just the wiring.
Hope this helps
cheers
