Hi All,
So my B7 seems to have been struck down with the fairly common issue of damaged/ broken wires in the rubber boot for the door loom.
In my case the electric window on the drivers side has stopped working completely.
I got access to the wiring and there doesn't seem to be anything broken in there but a couple of the wires are frayed.
The worst one is the red wire (can anyone confirm if this is the window wire)??
I know you can get a repair kit to change all the wires and the connector, but the damage is right as the wire enters the connector. If I could remove the wire/ pin, cut off the damaged bit and re-pin the wire hopefully that would be good enough.
Does anyone have a link to the particular pins I would need...and also I'm guessing there is a specific removal tool to de-pin the connector?
Thanks in advance!
