drivers door lock

Hi all, my drivers door lock is only working occasionally when opening with the fob, i have put WD in the lock ect but still doing it , any ideas, i think it could be the module but thought if it was that it would just stop working all together ,

It's been covered a few times.
Check the wires between the door and the body first before getting new lock.
