As per the title, I am looking for some advice..

It isn’t the fuse as all other windows are working.
It could be the motor…
It could be the switch (again all other windows are working)…

Before it stopped working I heard internal clicking when the window was closed like the motor was still trying despite already being closed. Sounds like the motor doesn’t it?! Anyone have a spare driver side electric motor and or maybe a master switch to try, don’t want to strip it all down without having a replacement. Happy to compensate.

Thanks

Could be the regulator that's snapped, it's something that happens on 8P's, do not buy ebay special as they simply don't last, buy genuine new & you'll not regret it.

Hi. Is there a way to see or test whether the regulator is at fault?

No good guessing what's wrong, it'll cost you.
Remove the door card,. Unscrew the 3 screws that hold the motor to the door and pull it out, ignition on and operate the window switch. If motor turns freely then the window glass is stuck or the regulator is faulty.
If the motor doesn't run apply 12volts to the 2 terminals and if it it still doesn't run you know the motor is broke.
