Driver Side Door Lock Doesn't Always Open...

Hi All,

Recently when I press my key fob to unlock my car, the drivers side door doesn't always open first time?

I have to lock and unlock the doors repeatedly until it does, usually about the 3rd time.... This never used to happen before and now it has happened many times over the last few days....

Any advice?

I have the same problem with my pasenger door.

You will have to fit a new door lock.
It's the micro switch in the lock and is NOT repairable.

I've just got the same on mine now. Anyone know the part number? I have a 2008 A6 2.0TDi S-line, just wondering if I can get any C6 door lock.

Also, is this a pain to fit?
