DPF symbol on dashboard

I had DPF symbol alert popped up on the dashboard earlier today. How do I reset it.

I think you are supposed to do some highway driving - above 55 mph - for a few miles so it can regenerate. Stop and go will send you motor into limo mode.

Stick car in 3rd/4th gear whilst driving and make sure you are doing above 2000rpm and drive like that for 15-20 minutes and the DPF light will dispappear.
