DPF regs haven't been incorporated into MOT's yet and when they do it will probably be only a visual inspection. This is why the internals are removed and the casing welded back up so it would pass the inspection part IF it is introduced. The car is normally then remapped to compensate for the DPF removal. They only test they do for the MOT is the smoke test anyway so no worries.
