DPF deletion

Anyone know much about it?

I see tuners seem to be offering this now as well as the standard remaps. What would the DPF deletion actually gain you?

Depends on how you drive really. I don't think I would have a problem with the DPF since I do lots of miles, and often at motorway speeds. If I was mostly driving around town though, I would consider it.

Same here trip to and from work is 75 miles, plus I have to travel round the country so do about 25-30k a year.

Just wondered what the benefits of doing it would be?

When i picked up my car in December the salesman said that if my DPF light comes on, not to return my car to Audi. He said hit the motorway and drive with the revs above 2500 and ill hear a pop and a puff out the back. He said that will be the DPF cleaning itself out.
