Dpf delete on 3.0tdi

does removing this give noticeable power gains at all with a remap?
are there any other advantages?

Don't actually know if mine has one on it or not?
It's a December 2006 car, plus with the new laws coming in that I've read on here would it still get through an MOT?

DPF was optional in 2006, mine is a 2007, DPF removed and passed MOT with no issues in Feb... having said that the guy who took it for the MOT was the same guy who made me my exhaust...

visual inspection only, if you're taking out the innards you'll be fine, it's only if you physically remove it they might notice...

I spoke to a tester today while doing a DPF delete on a car for the MOT station. They simply said its only a visual inspection, even if signs of welding he said they can't see whats inside so its a pass still.
