Downloading Map updates to SD Card

hey all

How do you download map updates to SD Card?

I’ve downloaded it from My Audi but my computer won’t open the download to complete it. It’s a JNLP file that won’t open on my computer and I can’t find a free programme to open it!

You need java on your computer to run the jnlp file. see https://java.com/en/download/

The jnlp file kicks off the Audi download program. In the download program you tell it where your SD card is for the download. Note the files hiave to be in the root of the SD card. Easiest to have an empty SD card.

My MyAudi shows no update, any idea what I can do to get the update? Thanks.

Which version of sat nav? With the sd based you cannot update the maps..

@cuke2u I’ve got the tech pack high.
I’ve managed to update it. I installed java and that worked.

Normal SD card based.

Then you can't update the maps...
