Door warning and puddle light retrofit

Hi, I would like to retro fit these lights into my doors on my B8 A4. I did it on my 58 plate A3 and was quite simple. Has anyone done it on their B8 A4. Just wondering if the door modules would be the same with the same numbered pins.

I have looked through elsawin but do not really understand how to translate the wiring diagrams into the actual wiring.

I will check the wiring schematics, but can you post up engine & gearbox code as elsawin asks for this & then I can also check etka if door modules are generic
