Facelift Door Speakers Replacement

Hello all, I have had my 2017 A4 for about 7/8 months now and have noticed that one of the front door speakers has blown. It has started to sound like its flapping behind the door card.

My question is has anyone replaced the door speakers with aftermarket speakers?

I have the Audi sound system with 10 loudspeakers (I’m in the UK so I’m not too sure if it’s called something different elsewhere).

I was looking at some 6 1/2 inch speakers but before ripping the door cards off i though I’d ask if anyone had replaced them without adding an amp etc.

Swap sides to test, if it's gone, then eBay another, much simpler unless you want to upgrade.

Thanks for that. Do you not recommend changing the speakers to aftermarket ones?

If you are happy with the system, just that one issue, then I personally would just fix that.

Have you confirmed it’s the actual speaker? It can be the door/card vibration
Have you thought about adding some sound deadening

I’m 99% sure it’s the speaker. But I think even if it wasn’t I’d be looking to replace the 4 door speakers with some aftermarket ones.

The other speakers I’d just leave for the time being.
