Right, my doors all lock/unlock by remote central locking working fine.

But none have power inside. No windows work front or rear or does the Central locking button on drivers door handle.

Windows won’t go up and down by holding key buttons either.

Fairly sure the rear speakers aren’t working either.

I’ve had the door cards apart previously to fit BOSE speakers.

All cables plugged in that I can see.

    Nothing in VCDS.

    Any ideas?

Most likely you have a short circuit in the main door, or a damaged main unit.

I have two cars here and a parts car.

Just tired different electric window motors/in both front and rear drivers side doors and no change.

Did see this before swapped the rear. Very strange

That door was closed at the time and drivers front was open.

Are you swapping with the same part number?
I suggest you swap the convenience ecu located under the driver seat.

Well some progress, the switches are now lighting up after removing all connecters and reconnecting but windows not working.

But now also have a VCDS code

    02071 - Local Databus
    57-00 - Electric Circuit Failure

Was same parts just from another S-Line but some numbers different on them but might just be the batch numbers/dates.
Have replaced original motors now and reconnected all cables and it's done something.

I'd say you have a wiring issue on that side or a module problem or both.
Try changing the module and then doing a vcds check.

Has anyone encountered anything like this?

Can one cable in one of the doors cause all 4 not to work at all?

Yes, it can cause even more.

Ok thanks. Going to take all four door cards off this evening and have a look at the Connivence module just in case for water.

Car has been sitting for quite a while with the lockdowns and only driven one or two short drives a week.
