Well I recently had a service and whilst it was in I got this bush replaced with a polybush

I don't know about you guys but the only difference I can tell is more vibration through the steering wheel, mostly at low revs when setting off but it IS getting worse.

Any ideas ?
And what exactly is it supposed to make feel better/different ?

The gearchange is suppose to be more direct, like it clonks into each gear more than before, the vibrations is suppose to settle down as the mount beds in also, and because it reduces engine movement, the drive to the wheels is much more responsive.

Did you have both poly installed or just the one?

What jojo said, made a hell of a difference to my car, sat better, rear was more soild and stable, didnt make any real difference to the gear change though.
Are you sure they used the correct torque settings? and what make of mount di you use?
