I'd love to get another dog mate, but I work 9.5 hour shift and the wife also works, so it wouldn't be fair to leave the dog on its own. But as soon as I retire!!!They are gorgeous...thinking of getting one?
When my wife did her degree, she had to visit a pharmaceuticals lab where they had cages of Beagles, rabbits, mice and rats that were used to test shampoos, eye makeup etc. she said it was horrible. They basical put it in the animals eyes to see what reaction it causes!!! As an animal lover it really upset her and she didn't go into great detail.
If you ever see someone walking round with an empty lead in their hand, shouting 'Fido' (or similar) frantically, they probably have a Beagle - they're nuts (but really good natured)!!Yea I'm in the same boat We have a cat, and I actually have a pretty flexible working pattern where I work from home every Wednesday and Friday, but I still don't think it's fair on the doggo...
I want one of these...absolutely obsessed with them!

I’ve always had dogs since I was a kid and my last dog a Labrador x died last year we got him 9 years ago from a dog home. My daughter loved the dog and it’s mad how dogs can be so gentle with kids even with all the poking and prodding. I think every kid should have a dog growing up and I’m thinking of getting a beagle for her 3rd birthdayYea I'm in the same boat We have a cat, and I actually have a pretty flexible working pattern where I work from home every Wednesday and Friday, but I still don't think it's fair on the doggo...

My boss has just walked in saying he's just been to see a customer and "they had ****** beagles". Said he used to have one himself and he used to walk round looking odd, clutching an empty, lead whenever he took it for a walk. Definitely wasn't just my grandma then! The handy thing with a beagle, is the white tip on the end of the tail, you can sometimes see it far away in the distance, so you at least know the direction it ran off in!!Haha I've heard all sorts of horror stories...but oddly it just makes me want one even more
This is my mates male and female 'so called aggressive type dogs', the female was still a puppy in this picture, they are stupid soft with his kids and follow his son around everywhere he goes.View attachment 147712 Here's my beasty woo woo Milo. He'll be 5 on 11th April. He's a Staffy X German Shepherd, very strong, agile and intelligent, knows how to open living room window and doors around the house etc...
He's like a brother to my son, and typically of Staffy's like a nanny to him, when we have fire on he'll come over and put his head on him to make sure he's not too hot and close to the fire.
Looking at him you'd expect him to be stereotyped and mean and aggressive etc, we've even had people picking there kids and dogs up away from him when we're out walking but he's the biggest dopy loving dog I've ever known.
shoutout to all the cockers out there! Ruby and Jet, mother and sonOwned and been around pooches since as long as I can remember
