I am selling a 1996 2.6 v6 and have been offered the following.

Mar 2002 A4 1.9 Tdi (130bhp)

One owner 97k full service history
denim blue, navy interior, 15 inch alloys, cd player etc.

It has been offered to me for £8500

does this sound about right? The parkers guide price is over £10K

any help is appreciated.

Sounds cheap enough to me, make sure the belts were changed on time and shouldn't have too many probs. Don't be put off by the mileage !!
Still try to chip 'im a monkey off the price though......all is fair when buying used cars
Doudle check to see if the handbrake cables have been changed on warranty as about this time they would let in water through the grommets and freeze up in the winter. Pop into a dealer and ask them to put the registration through dialogue, this should throw up any warrenty issues.
