..........change from single DIN to Double DIN? I've currently got a 2002 A4 3.0 Quattro Sport with the single DIN Concert cd player headunit. Will shortly be acquiring a little cash to splash & was considering going for the sat-nav unit but this means some work of converting the console to accept the double DIN unit. Can get the sat-nav unit & the double DIN console insert thingy but wondered if anyone had done this themselves and can offer guidance as to whats involved in removing the existing console & fitting the double DIN unit?? On a sideline note, i've got the full electric leather seats but their not heated. Would it be the case that the heating elements are in the seats, but without the dash control there's no warm bottoms? So if i fitted a climate control unit in my new double DIN console that happened to have the heated seat control would this give me the warm bottom?!
