as per title, as im lowering and having a remap done to mine soon. i never have in the past but a mate has just had a bump and he hasnt declared his mods. luckily it was 3rd party fault so his car didnt get inspected by his insurers. so its got me thinking should i.

well i tell them everything
may cost a few quid extra but
if you total the car and get it void you lost it all plus if you hid another car you will prob have to pay for theres aswell

Agreed. Tell them everything. If you don't, your effectively un-insured, and paying all that money out for nothing. Much better to pay a little more and actually be insured.

As above ! Insurance companies don't need an excuse to not pay out ! When I declared my lowering springs there was price increase for -30mm a little more expensive for -40mm etc etc !!

nice one cheers boys youve made my mind up when i get round to doing them, are yous just insured with normal insurance companies or specialist ones??

Nobody fancy here, just your average commoner garden rip-off insurance company.
