Looking for some help, as i'm getting grief from my wife. I have a 2001 S3 and a while back i upgrade my stock double din Audi symphony to an Audi Concert II+. Had to buy a cable harness adapter and aerial adapter. If i mind right i had to change a few wires to get it to power up.Problem is the radio reception is poor and very hissy (been like that since i swapped them over) and now i'm getting hassle to fix it.

I came across this thread http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/symphony-2-to-concert-2.78541/ can anyone give me advice on the part numbers and whether or not it would help my radio reception.

Think the concert II+ is the earlier model out an A4 as it has square corners

Cheers

The problem is the symphony had HF/ZF and the Convert II has HF/HF connections for the antenna, not sure if you had a symphone 1 or II originally.

But you need to feed both HF antenna inputs of the concert II from the single HF lead of the your old antenna system.

This cable will do it

Or this one from ebay which will probably be cheaper as the postage is cheaper

Hi , thanks for you reply and sorry for the delay getting back. Sounds like i bought the wrong adapter when i fitted the stereo and tried to connect both HZ and ZF

Also noticed that a single brown connector from car loom wasn't connected to anything, should this be connected to stereo?
