Dis shows more miles after battery charge???

I removed the battery from the car and charged it, prior to moving the dis showed 80 miles (fuel) to empty.
I reconnected the battery after around 8 hours.... Alls good, fuel gauge is still same place.

But the dis now shows 105 miles to empty
Whats going on....

Have you driven the car since you disconnected the battery?
Most things reset including the engine managment lights, but a short drive will sort everything out including the milage as it needs to recalculate the petrol and milage settings.

No prob bud !
You could probably drive it down the street for 5 seconds and it will recalculate all the settings
