Hi all, I have installed cruise and dis, had them coded , car accepted codes but for some reason they are not working.
Any help will be much appreciated, will post up the vag code errors when I get them sent to me

Ok so you're missing some information here. What is the part number of your SWCM?

I didn't do the coding (and have no idea how to) so what info is required? And as for part number I don't know the number, I bought the parts off a breaker and it said it was off an A4 b7 avant

Get someone on it that knows what they're doing, no offense.

Whereabouts are you located?

Ok not close to be lol, I have a job next week in Bromsgrove if you can get to there Friday/weekend.

If the car accepted the coding it's because the module is correct..
Beyyer look at clutch switch because if this is faulty cruise control won't work either..

Looking back at my receipts, the stalks I bought are off an a6 not an A4

My module only accepted the code when I got the new one.
I tried the cc code on module that wouldn't support it and car simply didn't take it..

You have to take off the clocks, and splice into pin 1 from the blue plug out of the back and ground it ( it should be the brown and red wire. The washer bottle function won't work then but ist tricks the computer in to thinking the sensor is active, but it's not. If the pin is not the ( as on some models it's not,) you need to but the wiring kit then ground it

So once it's been grounded the functions on the stalk will work ? Thanks

I believe it will work , if not try re coding it

Blue plug.. If I remember correctly on the left side.
Very easy to identify. Remove the multi conector from the blue sleeve and you'll see it clearly numbered..
Can't get it wrong really..
