I've noticed my drivers side wing doesn't dim with the passenger & rear view mirrors. I assume the previous owner has been a bit cheap & fit a none dimming in there as a replacement at some point. Where is the best place to get one with paying silly money? Or are they just silly money?
I can't find a part number either for a b8.5

Good luck finding one at a good price...I have a B8 and the pass mirror was £186, and the drivers £230 at cost!! Best take off the suspect mirror just to see if it is a non dimmer. I managed to get the drivers glass as a used off german ebay for £60 which was a massive result

It may be cheaper to buy a mirror unit with glass in it. I paid £135 for my driver side anti dazzle mirror unit.
