Diff bearing recall and wheelbearings

I had a bearing in the diff changed as a recall item at the 3 year service.

A couple of weeks later I heard a whining sound and the nearside front wheel bearing was changed FOC by the dealer.

Now the offside front wheel bearing has started whining so I swapped that myself as the car is almost 2 months out of warranty.

Anyone else had the recall work done?

Anyone else had front wheel bearings go shortly afterwards?

Car is a 2010 143 tdi multitronic. Never missed a beat until it was out of warranty

So no-one else had the recall for the diff bearing? Weird......

Audi only do recalls for safety issues. Anything else they'd pick up on the next time it was in.

Can't say I have, car has been in numerous times to audi and nothing has been mentioned. Mine is march 2009.
