Hi,
Been on and off here over the years and finally seen the light and come back to Audi.
I have a 2014 2.0tdi (174ps) A5 Sportback and have been offered the diesel emission software update.
Has anyone had this.
Seen on the internet that some people throughout VW/Audi etc have had problems after the update.
I'm of the opinion if it ain't broke don't try and fix it.

I can show you a dyno printout that was done on a vag (think it was a golf) did a run stock. Then went ahead with the emissions scandal. After driving sluggish it went for another dyno for comparrison. Sure it was around 30ish bhp it was down

dont waste your time as you know it will go to s**t with egr faults coming up and alike .. and when you take it back to audi they will say its not there problem

I didn't do mine as the car has always run very nicely. I officially opted out - it is not compulsory. As you say, if it ain't broke don't fixe it.

Agreed with everyone else don't do it. I've got a 2014 A5 2.0 TDI and I've only heard bad things about getting it done.
