Anyone used any additives to give injectors etc a bit of a good clean?
My job has changed a lot and I'm stuck in the office 5 days a week now, so my car only does the 10 mile idel in to Manchester city centre (average about 15 mph) so hardly get out of 3rd gear. I've noticed that it's a bit hesitant to go until the revs get up a bit, so I'm thinking dirty injectors. I need to give the beast a good run, and thought a bit of detox fluid would do it good.
So, which is best? Should I do the 1 shot or go for the every tankfull option? I take it my "old" non-pd diesel is ok to run additives?
