What Products Have You Used That Produced Better Than Expected Results?

Thought it would be good to read and see what products you have used which have surpass expectations.

Start of with Mother's California Gold Synthetic Paste Wax.

Was not expecting much but this is one of my favourite waxes due to application and obvious shine.

Applied a small amount with a butter knife to a DA pad, this produced better results.

Shop around and you can find it for £9.60 delivered, yet another reason it surprised. For that price I was not expecting much.

Fireball Nano Coat
Expensive but worth penny
Application is a doddle...going to apply it again today when l finish work plus try their coating wax
Nanolex Final Finish..Superb quick detailer

Perhaps we should also mention products that are dissapointing ie dont meet your expectations
1.Gyeon Wet Coat...they've defo cut back on its durability wont be buying it again

Menzerna Endless Shine...worst product l have ever used..full stop
Add the price of 4litres of wet coat £44 and £16 for Menzerna
£11 more than what Nano coat cost me,so I've wasted £60 recently

Fair point, it's good to read what's products are poor also. I've got and had some under performers.

Shall dodge them now if those mentioned here pop up on my radar.

Thought the 'Fireball Nano Coat' would make an entry. Like you say it's really expensive!

Perhaps a thread on 'What products you have used that turned out to be c**p' might balance it out...

Not intended for car cleaning but this gave me great results.

Bar keepers friend power cream.

Superb for the chrome tips.

Cheap also, seen it around for a pound.

These exhaust pipes are nearly 5 years old and pumping out dirty diesel all the time. Come up a treat.

No magic or new process, simply clean the tips inside and out first. Then just apply BKF to the outside of the pipes with a cloth and leave for a minute, then buff off with a clean cloth or paper towel. Re-apply if needed.

Inside the pipes use a kitchen scourer pad to apply, leave for a couple of minutes and remove. Again redo the process if needed.

Meguiars hybrid ceramic wax.
Got this a couple of weeks ago while in Halfords. Thought I give it a shot. Was going to order carpro hydro lite but saw this when getting some gold class car wash and cheap at £14.
First application on clean dry car and next application spray and rinse.
Finish is a good shine, body is slick to touch. Water beading is awesome even after 2 weeks of rubbish weather. Smells great too. Makes it so much easy to dry car.
Used it on 2 cars now. I quite like it for lazy spray and shine.
Will try and get some pics later.

Collinite 845 insulator wax.
Wow
Got recommend this year's ago.
Spent £20 on a bottle and won't buy anything else.
Very very durable and so easy to use.
Rubs off a treat, very easy
Warm it up by floating the bottle in warm water first and it goes a long way.
When it's cold it returns to a Vaseline consistency.
Awesome stuff on body and rims

I've also been recommended this with very good reviews - Definitely on the to-try list.

Here’s a pic of the finish of meguiars hybrid ceramic wax. had to take this pic while filling up as I was surprised at the beading cause the car is pretty dirty before it started raining. This was applied 3 weeks ago and last washed about 10 days ago. It’s rained on and off since I washed it and loads of dust and stuff stuck to it.

Add turtle wax dry and shine to this list.
For £4 odd from carpart4less I had to give it a try. Spray on and rinse off. Finish is nice and beading is good. Personally I found the beading with the megs hybrid ceramic better. The megs beads kinda merge and become big blobs and rolls off the car whereas the turtle wax stays in little beads.
