DEF on trip counter

Any idea why ? Doesnt go away !!

Google "Audi DEF" and you'll find lots of stuff but it won't tell you very much. Essentially, it seems to mean there's an internal error in the speedo cluster and you might have to take it to be repaired.

You haven't been using any laptop type tools to speak to the cluster, have you? It seems that this error can come up if the odometer has been tampered with.

The bodywork was repaired after a minor accident by an Audi approved repairer... maybe they did something ?
