Dechroming front grill and fog light surrounds

I've had a look on eBay for a black grill and fog surrounds, I can find plenty of honey comb black grilles but honey comb fog light surrounds I can't find in black?
Anyone have any recommendation for what they've bought?

I had my standard ones painted gloss black. Only thing is grill chips over time.

I used matt black plasticoat paint.

Lots of thin coats built up and it looks pretty sweet and on top of that it peels off should I want to go back to chrome.

Hasn't really chipped or anything in a year or so.

Only did the fog rings as bought an rs4 rep grille in black.

Cheers guys is the plasticote quite Sturdy stuff, I've seen a few posts about that gear!

I rate it!

Thin coats and lots of and no problems at all. its cheap as well which is a bonus.

Loads of people have used it now I think.

is it an s line or an s4 youve got bud if so, i dont think there is a mesh fog grill available for the sline or the s4, i'v looked loads and not found anything i think @TechNick was working on making some but not heard how he is doing

i'v used plastidip as well its not keen to stick to chrome but good on the plastics etc, iv done my chrome fog surrounds with primer back gloss spray and some laqure to try and stop them chipping, its worked a bit
