DeChrome vs Standard

cant decide if I like my standard chrome on my A5
What are everyone's thoughts on DeChromeing ?

Go for it, I would say.

If you decide to do it however, do it right tho.

I personally don’t like it but left few pieces on my car chromed.

Tried plasti dip on window surround trims and failed and don’t have the budget for vinyl wrap so that stayed chrome.
Also, exhaust tips are still chrome but due to change, I think.
All other chrome parts from my car gone either matt black or matt silver.

I think there's a good chance I would do it and change my mind after it. Got any before and after pics of what you dechromed?

Front grille frame, front fog light surrounds, door handle and lower door trims got done in matt black.
Front badge, rear rings and A6 badge got in matt silver.
