Blimey I didn't realise he'd died. So young too.

was really gutted when i heard, the guy was only 36, shocking really, shows you can never take nothing for granted. he used to play for spurs the team i support, his form got bad and it was only after he was forced to retire that it was realised it was his illness starting to take effect.

best wishes to his family

R.I.P Dean, gone but never forgotten

Football often gets press for the bad things, but when a player dies we all come together.

When Rocky (Rocastle) passed away, we played sp*rs a few weeks later - we had a silence for him, and every single fan in the ground showed massive respect. That shows that, even between clubs with massive rivalry, everthing stops for this.
I'll always respect sp*rs for their class that day and repay the class they showed.

Richards was so young at 36 - thoughts with his family.

RIP Dean.

And RIP Rocky - ten years on the 31st of March. :'-(

Yes I read about this, very sad & young, great shame & he was by all accounts a totally genuine nice bloke, same cant be said for some of these madonna's today huh, RIP.

I do wonder what he died from, as his scans were negative for tumors & nobody has mentioned the cause tbh, just dizzy spells, strange.
