Yeh, deffo! My guy does stretch all the time, well I had to use someone else to fit 225/30/20s on a 20 x 9  That isn't an easy task :ninja:

He is still giving the old there illegal, could blow at high speeds and get 3 points etc.
Just wish he would pay up and shut up.

Well he didn't Shutup and pay up. He said he would pay for one wheel out of his own money, my mate then said why don't you just go through your company insurance, his reply was that the premiums would go up.
He said he would rather a letter be sent and it being settled in court.

Funny thing is, that one alloy is immaculate. Maybe he got the hang of it after ruining the other three

The guy has offered to pay for the refurb of two of the alloys. I guess that's better than nothing, if I take legal action it could take forever, so have taken the two worse wheels off, get them over to the refurb garage tomorrow and then pay for or do the other one myself.

Be nice to get the smile back on my face after!

How risky is stretching? Anyone been pulled over by the old bill for it?

take them to a someone who can get the same finish and fit them for you. keep him out of it.

i would just wait till payday again and just get the other one done when you can... you will never really be happy with it if you do it yourself.

other than that it looks hard as nails mate !

Edit: about the stretch thing.. people run some mega stretch on what you have, i think with them being black it could be harder for the rozzers to spot it.

i even spotted a 7 series bmw the other day, clearly not anyone into modding and they had fitted smaller tyres than whatever the standard was and they were fairly stretched. looked quite funny.

Yeh at first he said take the wheels off and he will take them too the refurb garage, I weren't having that. So will just give him the bill when they have been done.
Yeh I werent to keen on attempting myself, but the other one isn't majorly damaged so it can wait.
Cheers Warren, it's been a long wait due to funds but I'm happy they are kind of 'sorted'

Now onto the next mods.....

Cheers Rye.

Yeh I guess I will just run the risk. Worth the risk with regards to the look of the stretch.

Ah ok, cheers for that. Yeh it just clears the arch as it is. Doesn't like any of the speedbumps around, scrapes at the back so may raise it up a notch...

hope that you get all this mess sorted out soon buddy and get the wheels looking mint again , i had a similar thing when i had two new tyres fitted to my wheels i had refurbed them about 2 months before needing tyres so i knew the paint was nice and hard and they took a nice layer of paint of the edge of the rim from using the fitting machine i was gutted as they were looking mint and it took me ages to paint them too needless to say i kicked off big time and they gave me a % back towards the refurb

Cheers Fran. The two worse ones are going to the garage today, even though the fitter wanted to use someone else.

They should still give a full refund and pay for refurb, as it's clearly there fault. He tried blameing a bad refurb job originally and all sorts.
But I suppose some money back is better than nothing.

Hi all. Im back too update my thread.
Its taken me a while too get back into the scene, mainly with the hassle i had with my alloys being damadged etc. But its been worth the wait. I have done a few little bits like the carbon wrapping on centre console, s3 pedals and led number plate lights...but my main mods have been as follows...A Mk2 RNS-E fitted courtesty of NHN who also fitted my FBMFWS in the process.

Next up and most recent was a service through the great work of NHN, an s3 rear bumper and MY11 rear lights! A great mod and im so happy with the outcome of the rear end.
Next will be the rear spoiler, sideskirts and s3 front end. I have already got Bi-Xenons too be fitted when i get a front bumper aswel.
Also have had my windows tinted and have also got a white cluster 09, yet too be fitted also.

Just had car cleaned and polished especially for here, let me know what you guys think. Sam

Sam, damn it looks so much different after a clean up mate, looks great.

Did they manage to get rid of that white polishing compound around the sensors?

I have to say, Sam is one of the nicest blokes I've ever met, a credit to society, polite, respectful, provided me with tea on tap, partner made me some food, extremely grateful mate, thankyou very much :)

Glad you're happy with the work, soon you'll be loving the ride even more, see you tomorrow/sunday :)

That's S3 bumper, if I'm not wrong they comes p&p with Yours one. Whole bumper I just paid last week (brand new) on eBay 350 with PDC
