D2 4.2 v8 engine additive questions

Hi everyone.

Throwing this one out to more learned folks.

Just got my dream car of a black s8 d2 4.2 v8 83kwith updated rims exhaust and a remap

it's a beast.

My ask is will the engine accept and benefit from a ptfe oil additive. It reduces friction etc etc on the engine so would seem to have a lot of benefits. My old v6 minded seemed smoother after adding it....or that could have been the placebo effect.

no not add PTFE.....Audi always recommend a low ash fully synthetic oil but must admit I have always used 5-50 fully synthetic motor sport oil and changed oil plus filter every 5000 and 86,000 miles on my engine is still very sweet
