Currently sitting at MRC stage 2 in my 2015 A7 for just under two years, it made a healthy 488hp.

MRC have said they won't offer anything for stage 3, besides going all in at the cost of £8k(!), stating the supercharger clutch as a weak point.

I've read a fair amount about it over the last couple of years, with some people getting quite far into it and then quitting, but others (mainly in the US it seems) claiming some healthy power figures with uprated throttle bodies, ported blowers, decats etc, although admittedly most involve the use of E40 or similar. I've also read there are solutions out there for welding the clutch, and apparently its not too hard to get to.

What's the current consensus this side of the pond? Is there another 50hp or so to be found without spending 8k? Or some extra torque down low instead would also be appreciated?

Anybody?

Keen to know if anyone is successfully running a larger TB on the crec engine!
