Crackling from speaker on passengers side door panel after rain?

Not sure if anyone has suffered the same issue but after it's been raining and I'm using the radio it sounds like the centre speaker is torn, when weather dries out problem goes ?
Has anyone taken the door liner off and knows of a guide I could reference or had a similar issue ?
