Covered hole inside arm rest ?

What's the square covered hole for in my b8.5 armrest ??

Its probably for the auxin socket, ironically I fitted one yesterday in a b8.

My AMI connection is in the glove box aswell. I also have the covered hole in the glove box. Would help out if my AMI connection was in the glove box.
