Those wheels do nothing for it. It doesn't suit the Sepang either. Too much black. Better than a poke in the eye.

Wish I had your courtesy car, jumping from a s3 to a 1.6 diesel isn't much fun

I've been told by people that they don't like the car I drive quiet a few times but I don't take it to Heart as its your own personal choice at the end of the day.

I know you'll all say it's a terrible waste, but it has sat on the drive all day. I have some jobs to do in the garden that need to be followed up swiftly by rain and we're forecast biblical amounts tonight and tomorrow, so today has been my only opportunity to get out there and get gardening. My A3 is in for its second annual service, nothing serious - well, they haven't phoned me all day so I'm assuming everything is straightforward!

The service guy told me it's a special black edition with lots of extras thrown in as the A5 is about to be revamped. Oddly though, the radiator surround is chrome rather than black. I have to confess it's not my type of car as I need more of a workhorse for the carting around I do from time to time and whilst a cabrio is great fun, it's not something I'd ever want to own. Some of you may remember that last year I was given an A3 cabrio and we ended up keeping it over the week end. My wife fell in love with it so we're planning to get her one for her retirement present (my A3 was my retirement present). Trouble is, her retirement keeps slipping away from her as they keep raising the female retirement age, so the A3 cabrio is still a couple of years away yet. The dealer is primed, however.

Those wheels are awful, even worse seeing them up close. They look like some cheap gloss black rubbish bought in halfords.

The rotors suit the A5 perfectly.

For what it's worth, I didn't like the wheels either. I'm not really sold on black wheels, except perhaps on white cars. Silver or alloy wheels are for me the bling on a car. Black is OK if you want the stealth look.

Actually had my eyes tested last week, perfect :)

Jolly good, them wheels are far better made than S3 wheels, and in the metal they look far better, Rotors are rotors really, common as muck as they say,but we all have different tastes

I'm no great authority on wheels, but rotors always remind me of the early designs when alloys started to catch on. We have moved on in the design since then.

Each to their own as you say, but have seen these wheels in the metal and I still think they look like cheap halfords specials regardless of how well they are made.
