Might go for that if I got to get the engine rebuilt anyway might aswell do it ready for a turbo upgrade.
Is there much point in having the gt30 or bigger if you don't go stroker? All the big turbo builds I've seen all have

Looks sweet i want 1 aswell. What power would be expected out of them?
on 1900cc motor we have 564bhp/430lbft from them. (my HTA3076 on badgerwagen is 530bhp/420lbft in comparison)
stroker we will see shortly on a couple... Two builds here strokers and AET3076 turbos so looking fwd to seeing these in action on strokers... Torque onset is going to be lovely I predict

I am only 1900cc on badgerwagen... The 3076 is a sweet match even on non stroker.

Was just thinking the same.
How much extra does it cost to go stroker when doing a full rebuild with uprated rods anyway?
crank + oil drive gear are the additional cost items vs normal rebore/rodding to go stroker.
Cranks were £750-£800 ish and oil drive gear was £50-£60 from memory

These cars are so exciting I wish I had the inclination to commit to something like this, I would feel so guilty as I only clean my car when I cannot see out the rear window, if I cannot look after the basics then I think it would be wasted on me.

Ohh man i wish i could've gone down the stroker route, sounds great! :respekt:

do you update any of the gearing to benefit from the massive power? and turn the car into a 200MPH monster?

and is there an upgrade for the propshaft and rear haldex diff and drive shafts to manage the torque increase?

no.
the gearboxes on some are strengthened but ratios dont change

Do you only do the downpipe just for your own builds or do you make to sell aswell also it that 90mm downpipe ?

What large port head would you recommend to use agu or the a4 aeb or is there no difference? Sorry for all the questions just weighing up getting parts together

76mm downpipe

if going for 450bhp or below stick with smallport.. if more then AGU/AEB/ADR(some)

Any more news on the torque onset with the 3076?!

The car sounds amazing bill. Hoping to get some time to pop up and see it! Those pops and cracks are lovely!

Honestly the experience in a badger5 Car is unreal. I've never driven something since that rivals it. Nothing prepares you for the torque, absolutely nothing.
