Cooling fans on constantly!

Anyone experienced this? So this morning I start up the RS5 and notice takes ages to get up to temp. Not a warm morning, 15 deg. Also oil taking ages to get to normal temp.. Dropped my daughter off and noticed the fans were going off like crazy...

Turned car off, restarted it, noticed I could not shut off stop/start - bit weird then fans come on again, pretty much on for the whole journey back home and a good 10 mins after on the driveway.. Potentially some faulty sensor? Car drives fine, but my word those fans are really going for it!

How spiritedly are you driving it?

The cooling fans activate on mine after I’ve given it a hard run and stay on for a while to cool the turbos before switching off.

if you’ve got access to OBDeleven or VCDS you can check for faults. Otherwise it’s a trip to the dealer.

If I start the car now, from cold, my cooling fans will start turning on max..
