Hi,

This may have been asked before, however I;ve just been given vague info so thought I should check.

I bought an A3 1.8T 180BHP Quattro with a few issues. When I bought it the idle was irratic and has had a coilpack replaced.

My mechanic friend has driven the car after doing some other work to it and says it feels very down on power.

He scanned the car and it came up with a coolant temp sensor fault code.

Is this a common fault? As simple as replacing the sensor?

ECP show two replacement sensors, do I need both?

Thanks for the reply.. 3 replacements! Crazy.. Sounds like it will probably be a stock item then, will get down to TPS.

Cheers
