A5 2.o Tdi caha engine.............temp gauge always sits just under halfway when it should sit halfway at 90.
it can take a good 10-15 minutes to get there,which is a bit slow, if i turn on the heaters,gauge drops a bit lower.
i know it use to always sit halfway (90) AND EVEN WHEN I USE TO PUT THE HEATERS ON IT NEVER USE TO DROP.
still gives out hot air at all times,today i connected vcds and checked coolant sensor readings..........gauge was halfway at 90 (after driving 20 minutes in the nice weather we had today)
coolant sensor reading on vcds was 78 ............after sitting at idle for a further 10 minutes,it went up to 90 on vcds...as i drove it dropped down to 80.............does this sound like a thermostat issue or coolant sensor?
