The one with the temp sender attatched, went to replace mine earlier and i stopped short of starting as soon as i saw the hose clips.
How are they undone, are they just squeezed with a big pliers.
Not an emergency as i only leeks a trickle but i would like to do it tomorrow........
Blanked off the egr instead.....jesus that was effing dirty......
As soon as i have time the intercooler and hoses are coming off for a good swill........

Which hose clips?

You can undo the constant tension clamps with a pair of water pump pliers, but it can be fiddly.

Depending on the age you may also have a push fit feed for the heater matrix, these require you to pull up the metal spring, then the hose will pull off with some wiggling.
