Considering Buying A4 2.0TFSI Quattro 2009

Hi,
Bit worried about the oil problems on these engines, done alot off Googling and forums,
cannot seems to find if all affected, or only some engine codes.???

There’s a post on here dedicated to the oil consumption issue. It’s pinned to the top of the page and has some really useful in within it. I’ve got a 2010 A4 tfsi that was affected by the oil consumption issue, to which I was unaware prior to buying it.

Thankfully with the help of this forum I managed to get Audi UK to cover the full cost and my local Audi garage done the repair. I have heard other people haven’t been so lucky however and had to pay towards the repair.

Hi, Glad you had it done, what was the engine code?
The problem is it looks a random problem as i have seen some engines with over 100,000 miles??
If I could just know which engine are affected by code or production date that would help.
