£550 a month £7k down on carbon edition.
I was quoted my rs3 as px (17K equity) plus £4 deposit, £550 a month over 4 years but with a £31k baloon for a £65K vorsprung car with dynamic pack

No thanks (now paid off my rs3 8v as ive only done 17K miles in 4 years)

21k down over 4 years for 550 a month?! Surely not, that's horrific

Nah, that must be wrong. I'm only putting down about £11k I think is on the finance, and my payments will be around £600 or so with that.

actually pretty sure it was 550 over 3 years. Agreed, crazy....so still no thanks. I think they messed up with the calculation

my current car was 550 over 4 years, 12999 deposit, 23K baloon on a 57K car, paid 53.8k i think. Discounts in 2017 were as rare as they are now. Think, the discount roughly paid for the interest.

My RS3 8V (new) was £5,250 down and £556 a month over 4 years, sure it was £48,000.
My current X3MC (new) was £6,500 down and £613 a month over 4 years, crazy discount though. The 2.9% rate helps.

I just think 10k plus down is crazy when you most likely wont see any of it back, depends if your looking to buy it at the end I suppose.

That does sound crazy numbers. Others seeing that monthly with well under £10k deposit

It's just odd that with a much smaller deposit and 9k miles a year over 4 years what been quoted almost the same as my monthlies.

I've just placed an order on a carbon edition sportback with adaptive suspension + black roof rails. £6,150 discount through military. Invoice states the car will be sourced through Audi Lincoln.

Those of us lucky enough to get in early benefitted from £9k off before they pulled back the discount. £6k is still decent though, you’ll be in the +ve for while if have thought.

Edit: £58,992 versus the £63,725 ROTR cost.

9k is very impressive, was that on a decked out vorsprung dynamic pack config? Wasnt VED effective from April ‘21? Worth mentioning my discount is UK based not overseas posting.

Yes, worked out at 15.1% off the Vorpsrung SB with paint, which OTR'd at £59k. This was the UK-based pricing, but they only held those discount levels for about a week before dropping down to where they are now (which is still damn good).

I was going to swap back to a Carbon Black model, but it would have ended up costing me £2k more so I've left it.

That is a mad discount, more than many get on “normal” cars

I tried to amend my spec with them too but would have meant the reduced discount so left as is.

Good to know.
I guess I’ll just have to stick with Vorsprung saloon and wait, wait, wait :rage:
at least I get 8.5k off
I wonder what will happen about the £500 Audi reduction due to lack of 360 camera? Will they pass it on on just effectively reduce our discount??

I was tempted by the vorsprung as it works out cheaper but most of the assistance systems aren’t of interest to me, I reactive them all anyway. Plus flat bottom steering wheel is nonnegotiable due to long legs

Sellers market at the moment unfortunately - certainly in terms of the RS3.

He told me the group head had emailed all the dealers and told them categorically ‘zero’ discounts on the RS3, the 8Y is selling way beyond Audi forecasts.

Whats the ballon ?
huge if 3 years - must be £33-4k ish
huge if 4 years - must be £26k ish

Will be 4K more if you order now with the price increase.

I'm out!! 23K baloon was enough for me on my current rs3 which i paid off in oct as im keeping it. But at least theyve done a sensible deposit and not a silly £1K depo.
