Coming/leaving home lights and LED number plate bulbs?

i get my car 3rd september was delivered to dealership end of july so im guessing thats a my11, i have DIS and i dont understand what you all mean so to make it simpler will i have coming home/leaving home lights on mine

Mine is 2011 and has coming home/leaving home lights. Maybe that's because I have the auto headlights though?

dont have auto headlights, least i dont think, mines an s-line and my dad ordered the car tbh

I'm a complete noob as you can probably tell from my post count, but all I know is that I can turn the coming/leaving home function off through the DIS. I assume that it's only a function if you have a light sensor otherwise they would come on every time you locked/unlocked your car, even in broad daylight.
