Hey guys, 2002 S3.

How do I tell if my coilpacks have been changed in the recall?
If they haven't which are the best to go for, I see euro have bosch ones.
Also what are the best spark plugs to use on a stage 2 car.
Thanks

pm me your chassis and il have a look on the system and see if yours has ever been in for the recall

Hi Scotty24,

Can I be cheeky and ask for this favour too? Heard about this recall issue, but was also planning on upgrading them. Better option?

I use ngk iridium plugs on mine, £31 for a set on eBay.

The 2.0 TFSI coil packs are sometimes referred to as more reliable. Me personally, they look pretty. Standard coil packs are fine. I use NGKBKR7EIX spark plugs. The are one step cooler plugs

TFSI coils are basically exactly the same power wise and probably reliability wise? Several people have dyno'd them back to back and found no difference. They're cheaper (which is offset by needing adapters) and that's about it. R8 ones are the same but red but people like to say they have R8 coils :)
